There were some rumors about them 4 years ago.
It seems they went with 1200 instead.

There's plenty of concept art/ drawings/photoshops of it though:

08+ Fireblade with higher bars/lower pegs? Smile

They are comfy enough anyway; helibars and a tall screen would be sofa-comfy.

I can't find a decent big pic of one atm, but as big capacity multi cylinder custom bike/cruisers were mentioned, i quite like the 1987 Kawasaki ZL1000 Eliminator!

The name alone makes it sound like it should come with an air shifter, lock up billet clutch, a megaphone 4-1, and a wheelie bar! Laughing

They were a pretty potent cruiser too, with a GPZ1000RX engine de-tuned to 110bhp@9000rpm, and capable of 140mph and an 11.14sec standing 1/4mile. I guess they were about 8/10th of the bike that the V-max was, and the only real downside is V-max levels of Handling.

Give me one of these over a new Blade any day of the week!

I'm still waiting for my VFR1000.

More power, less weight, more ground clearance, better quality suspension, luggage as standard, cheaper and simpler to maintain?

Aprilia did that 10 years ago with the Futura. Too bad no one bought them, Aprilia's disinterest in keeping a healthy supply of rear wheel bearings going will be the final nail in it's coffin soon enough Neutral

Honda is a good bike and you should get better riding from the V4 as opposed to the V twin, if it is the VFR motor it is a very good motor.

The super magna has the last version of the VF motor. This version seemed to have fixed the top end oil feed and exploding gearbox problems of the earlier VF750 models. Earlier 700 and 750 magna and VF models should be avoided at all costs. The 500 ,1000 and 100 models didn't seem to suffer the same problems.
