It was bought as a frame so it wouldn't have come with any. The forks shown in the first picture aren't them either as the VJ21 didn't have USD's

good amount of workmanship gone into it but i personally don't like the bodywork, hate the way the subframe shows under the rear tail unit and think the front fairings would of been better with some sort of vent in them instead of being a big flat slab, but again they do look well fitted.

That because it's a 21 frame not a 22?

This is the full tyga kit on a 22

What sort of power valves are in the motor?
The 21 style ones have a habit of disagreeing with the piston an an argument with severe financial consequences Laughing

The vj21 valves were the less prone to fail! I've got 6 freshly replated barrels for that motor in my garage as well as a as yet un run Conrad UL spec motor I had built as a spare when I used to race the RGV. 63 bhp and 18 mpg!! Really should put one of the rgvs back on the road! They do pull a crowd as does any sporty 2t these days!

Great looking project, hope that you can finish it soon.
Single sided swingarm suits the bike. Thumbs Up

Edited!!! And to be fair 18 mpg was with track use. Geared down to 120mph. Superb handling little bikes With awesome brakes made riding the RGV all about ambushing people in the braking zones and chucking it at the apex. Ill be interested to know how the mick abbey pipes work!

It's looking good, but why did you paint an aluminium frame?

If you wanted to change the colour of it to black or something I could understand getting it powdercoated but why would you spray it to the same colour it was before? Personally I've polished my GSXR frame and I think it looks great but I don't really know why you would paint one...

it had loads of deep marks that wouldnt polish out so i re-painted it too look like original, didnt really want it polished though too much work, this painter guy said it would look better painted than powdercoated as its easier to touch up if gets any chips on it unlike powdercoat
