YES! Well done, good spottage there. Testing you were awake Wink

I have no idea then, but probably off a smaller cc bike of a similar build.

I'd say it's done it's job then - what with it being a "rat racer" an' all...

needs to go back to standard.

dunno why people think a 2t that needs red lining to move, can be a suitable cruiser.

I had an Aprilia Classic for a while - nice to ride, apart from the sound...

A say a while; it blew up pretty quickly and I ended up getting a Jinlun Texan engine to put in it.

Then I sold them both for 3 times what I bought them for (apparently these Classic's are quite rare Razz )

I know it's not an H100, but thought you might like to see this;

It's a CM125 with cafe racer styling (well, that's what we're going for)

The tank is an h100 tank, and the tail piece is made from another h100 tank and a locker door Razz

Work in progress, what y'all think?

were those indicators similar to these?

ebay? about £2.50 a pair? from Hong Kong?
sorry to tell you dude, but they last about 4 weeks before they crack at the point where the head of the indicator meets the stalk. Sad

Yep and yep 2 are currently held together with tape and the other 2 are still ok, but yea pretty crap TBH but at £2. odd Rolling Eyes

I'm still fettling away, was off the road for a while, I had terrible wheel wobble at low speed, thought my fork might need topping up, but sadly it was my rear wheel, every spoke was loose and 3 missing, the rim was literally floating about Shocked So i'm now on a 17" rear on some real skinny tire awaiting the arrival of a secondhand 18" wheel. I guess the good blasting about over summer, hittting the potholes etc took its toll on my poor rear wheel... Twisted Evil

I bought a used one advertised as h100, but when it came in was a 17" more likely off a C90 or similar, I stripped parts off the old 18" and got the 17" fitted. I run 3 on the front and usually 3.5 tyre on the rear. The 17" came with a skinny tyre fitted, looks pathetic, but gets me about untill the 18" arrives and i can get back on my 3.5 rear tyre Wink

I've been reading your h100 thread Iain, looks like i've missed a few things since my last visit on here. some interesting mods going on in your thread, I'll be watching that for sure Thumbs Up

If you can keep it going till May, you should ride it to Hastings, I'll be there again with mine fingers crossed.

Took the old girl for an MOT last Monday, she's been used all winter in all weathers.
Failed on a binding rear brake arm and a knackered dip switch. Soldered a new switch in, pulled out and greased the brake arm cam, and popped her back in a week later with a pass. Smile

I removed all indicators before the MOT as the bulbs had blown, think I'll leave them off, also changed the rear light for a enduro style unit and rubber plate flap. I kept smashing the other set up with it being under the rear mud guard. The new one works out a lot better and was only £7.99 Thumbs Up

I want to keep her mainly satin black, she's a rat ride after all Wink but Thinking of maybe spraying the hump black to match the tank, then adding a silver stripe or 2 down the tank and hump Thumbs Up

Thank you MissTasmin. My misses hates the thing, although most of the parts are pretty cheap, it takes regular maintenance to keep her going, so I spend a day here and there stripping, fixing and rebuilding..

It's been a year since I started riding, I won't be getting a new bike any time soon and don't have a spare £800 for the DAS. But I hope I can get those L's off before my CBT is up next March Thumbs Up I've heard it makes your bike go an extra 10mph once they're off!! Laughing

Should make it faster, less air resistance. Wink

You don't need to pay for DAS, just do the tests. Although I don't know whether you can do it on a 100cc bike.

The old Rat is still going strong, I just started a full strip down today. My CBT has lapsed and the old gals mot has expired, so she's SORN and getting some TLC...

I want to make a few more changes, mainly losing the side panels and re locating the battery, I also have the rear sets still to sort Rolling Eyes

Pics of updates will follow and possibly questions Mr. Green

I'd forgotten about this. Sorry. Rolling Eyes

Seeing it crop up again reminded me of how cool it is. I love small bikes so much, by that I mean physically small as well as tiddly engines. Laughing Good to see it is still getting some well-earned love, after so many years of ham-fisted learners.
