Just buy a bigger bike? Won't have much of an improvement at all.

Thx Paddy,

True that.

I was hoping to squeeze a bit more pick up torque while sticking to L plates.

Buying a bigger bike is not just "just", there are overheads that many in this shoes would be happy to avoid for as long as its possible.

But thanx for your input anyway.

Cheers

Well, just put L plates on a bigger bike. Riding with a 150cc.. you might as well remove the L plates as its still exceeding the limits of the L plates.

As Paddy has said - if you wish to stick to L plates you may as well just stick L plates on an R6, it's the same as putting a 150CC kit onto a 125 with L Plates.

Putting L plates on an R6 is in no way similar to putting L plates on a 125 with a big bore kit

It breaks the same laws. In fact, it probably breaks fewer because insurance fraud is quite frowned upon and I can't see the op declaring to his insurers that he's riding outside of his licence.

Long story short, the Terra is right up on the legal 125 power limit. Enjoy it for what it is.
