I'll look forward to reading about your work being done on it. But good god, it's bloody hideous.

Just been through this with a friend's bandit 600. Luckily we were taking off the exhaust for an engine swap (blown head gasket and got a good engine for £60) so we could grind or dremel through the bolts and worry about the remains stuck in the engine at a later date. Still a major pain though. WHY SUZUKI...WHYYYY?

That aside, this bike is extremely pretty. Probably my favourite of the GSXRs.

Had the same exhaust issues with a 750H model I owned many years ago! Ended up cutting the header pipes off to remove the engine as I didn't fancy pistol drilling the old bolts in situ at the time! ( less room on the old oil burners!)

Not many of these bikes ever made 30k miles let alone 60k so well done to whoever owned it for keeping it rubber side down. Iconic bike of the era that! Thumbs Up

It'll be the dogs. Drop the box out and put up a photo of the gears. If they are the type I can fix I'll do them for you straight away so you don't miss too much summer.

Yeah, but that was a £500 "I WANT BIG BIKE NOW!" purchase a few days after passing test. It looked a lot worse after i crashed it & bodged it up with lots of matt black paint.

Still, if you ever wreck it bad & it still runs then dibs on the motor!

trust me, ive already got 1st call on most of it.
