Nice to have something newer.. Thumbs Up

I'm quite tempted to get a newer ZX-6R... On my budget B1H or C6F.. but that would depend on how much they can offer me for my J2 Wink

I had the choice of the 2012/2013 675R, since they were priced the same it would have been stupid not to of the got the newer one since all the reviewers are raving about it haha.

I do agree though, the 09->12 is more aesthetically pleasing, but I'll get over that just by how awesome the bike is lol.

I got a decent deal since I was paying cash + part ex'ing my 675.

2012 to 2013 R model?

2bhp increase, ABS, Slipper clutch, shorter wheel base, lighter wheels, center of gravity is different because of the exhaust and probably some other little bits.

In comparison to my current Daytona.

Ohlins forks, Ohlins shock, Brembo monoblocks on the front, factory fitted quickshifter (I bought one for my SE anyway).

Think that's it to be honest. Probably quite a bit I've missed, like minor tweaks.

Exhaust will be ditched after the 500 mile service with a carbon fiber scorpion end can and decatted headers.

Did you get a decent PX on your old one?

I found Triumph to be quite generous when chopping in my Suzuki Gladius. Thumbs Up

definitely prefer the older look. A 675 without an underseat exhaust just doesn't look right.

Nice, test rode the older "R" and was some bit of kit, sure the 13 will be even better.

Like most, still prefer the older model for looks, but the R does look pretty sweet too.

Enjoy.

Cheers man. I'm looking forward to my first ride on it on Thursday. Can't wait. Very Happy

Had a go on the standard 13 model, and it was an amazing bit of kit. The induction noise on it was so addictive, even with the stock can on it sounded brilliant and was giving a little pop on the over run.

Oh and quickshifters are the best thing ever invented, ever!

Unfortunately I can't afford one, but will be chopping the hornet in for an early model in the next month or two

Picked it up today...

This was a sorry sight, I really did enjoy this bike and it never let me down.
https://gyazo.com/8badf74c39e19f6dd8f9509f7e4f2b37.png

Anyways, onto the new and all that.

As you can see, I've put some mods onto it already and made my rearsets off of my 09 SE fit onto it. Just needs an exhaust and a few of my other bits and bobs to turn up. Pretty chuffed with it. Haven't riding it since fitting my rearsets or techspecs but they can only make it better. Very Happy
