I like the new look, or at least I would if it wasn't for the weird bulbous nose. WTF is that bulge?

I rode one of these last night (the older version).

They're bloody tiny! It was nice though - be a weapon on the track. Felt 250 sized compared to my 02 GSXR600.

Hah yeah, they are pretty small to be honest. I believe the older model was a tad skinnier. 09 Definitely felt more compact.

Not done much to it lately. Been waiting for Scorpion to send me an exhaust for 8 weeks so finally got fed up with the fuck up they done and got my money back. Ordered an exhaust from SC-Project now which should be here next week some time, hopefully.

Here is how the 675 stands now though. Could do with a road racing screen like my old one had (Zero gravity one) and a radiator guard.

Congrats....

I prefer your new bike. I would take either in an instance, but i think you made a great choice with the new bike. Looks great.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Ordered this a week and a bit ago.

Build quality looks great, they supply everything you need to fit the exhaust (Which they should anyway) and they supply 2x different heat resistant stickers to put on the exhaust. (You'll see I had the big one first and then swapped to the smaller one as the larger one was far too in your face in my opinion)

Anyway, onto the pictures

As I said, I wasn't keen on the massive sticker so swapped it for the smaller one. Kind of thinking I should have put it nearer the outlet than smack bang in the middle but hey ho. (Sorry about the quality, this one was off my phone)

....and finally the OEM junk
https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3669/9363395687_31bac02f9c_c.jpg

Firstly, after my first ride on it. The fuelling feels absolutely perfect and that is without a remap or anything. However, My EML light is currently illuminated because of the EXUP valve/motor being removed but I'm going down to Triumph tomorrow to get that disabled and the arrow map loaded on just to see if it improves anything.

The bike feels a lot more responsive than it did with the OEM can. Power wheelies occurring in second gear whereas they only ever use to happen at the top end of first. Accelerates a damn sight quicker too.

It is kind of annoying that the bellypan doesn't extend enough to hide the cat but I can live with that until I work out a way to get the OEM panel to fit (Which I'm going to match to the fairings in a gloss black)

Can you not just use TuneECU to do it yourself yourself? Or can you not do that with '13 models? Wink
