Female LARPer and still single? That's a warning sign. So many single males in that particular hobby that she's got her pick of a huge range of desperate men. This would lead me to believe that she's either carrying enough baggage to crash an airline carousel or has an insanely picky attitude to what you will be.
And as to her comment about having many platonic male friends, if they're anything like LARP scene in the UK then they really, really don't want to be platonic

That might explain the rather vigorous and stringent set of requirements she has - she has her pick of the litter. I'm going to wager there's some pretty decent guys among the LARPers too.

In my experience even in fairly nerdy pursuits there will be a fair few attractive guys who also happen to enjoy the activity - I've been to a few MMO meets and it's definitely more true of guys than girls.
I suppose some of her "platonic male" entourage are the more stereotypical sweating neckbeards/fedora crowd that she strings along for amusement and favours, and her actual boyfriend would need to be cool with her flirting to keep their attention.

The only live action role play I've seen that is remotely acceptable is the RealStalker folks in russia.
Going innawoods with your buddies with your airsoft gear, driving around old soviet armored vehicles, making real life stalker camps where you play guitar and drink vodka. |

She seems unbearable. I haven't looked at anything on POF for quite a long time now and her profile has pretty much guaranteed I'll never go back to that website. She reminds me of everything that is bad about it. |

Deeply unattractive person. Physically I wouldn't look at her once, let alone twice. And she looks a lot older than 29 to me. But more importantly - dat sense of entitlement!  Why would anybody put up with a weepy, needy procrastinating princess who thinks she deserves everything? Feminists would doubtless excoriate a man who took the same approach.
But it's the US. Standards are low. I guess she does it because she gets plenty of attention.

Er... no. However, she mentioned finding me on the Chemistry page which I'd never bothered with before, figuring it was yet more of those extremely tedious tests that POF wants you to do. But no! It's full of some cute ones, some slightly insecure ones (do you really want to say 'pick me if you value brains over looks??), and even a girl with a 'motorscycle' which might be code for 'Ninja 250'. NONE IN NEED OF HARPOONING which is a nice change.
Then you have the likes of her who seemingly does everything ever - from refurbishing sailboats to shooting things with guns to wanting long sex sessions twice a day... and writing more profile than anyone would ever want to read because what the hell will be left to talk about when you meet her?

My ex (not from POF), but thought I'd mention, had inverted nipples. It was a total turn off for anything related to the boobies.
Women need nipples, otherwise boobs don't work, IMO.
Is that weird to have to stipulate that?!
