Reporting in after an extended silence...

Been single for a few months now and made a new OKCupid account. Spammed a few girls with messages, got a few annoyed responses but mostly was ignored.

Messaged an insanely hot blonde "Talking on OKCupid is a waste of time, let's have a drink" and amazingly she replied.

So last night we met for a drink, and then another, and then another, and before we knew it we were smashed. Brought her back to my place and did the hanky panky all night long and it was fucking brilliant.

Hungover as fuaark this morning and arrived into work at 11am (4 hours after I usually get there, at 7). Boss was not best pleased.

Pretty pleased with the overall outcome though


Oh and I also wrote a script with Python that spams my colleague with emails. Coding is fun, I wish I'd done computer science now.

Eh. Moral of the last few pages seems to be, get a shag out of the bird and don't get too butthurt when it ends quickly. Feeds into that idea that when the rights of women approach the rights of men (i.e. closer to equality) they just end up doing the same scummy shit men have been doing for centuries. Figures!

Still, a shag is a shag, and if it was a good one then it was probably worth dealing with her neuroses for a bit and listening to her prattle on about things that have no interest to you, am I right men? Am I right?

Somehow, sharing pictures of someone we've actually met and dated, without their consent, on here seems out of order - it's not the same as finding those profiles of whales and psychos that we'd never meet in a million years.

Spent a few days last week messaging a girl (including much of the weekend) and we'd made plans to meet on Friday.

Well, she started saying how she was having the week from hell, and that it was personal shit that was no biggie, and I told her it was fine: I understand, take the time you need to work through it. She told me thanks for my understanding.

Oh well. Somehow I get the feeling I won't be hearing from her again. She also has the most severe case of 'busy schedule' I've ever seen: she work practically full time and goes to college full time. The reason I was able to talk to her so much that weekend is that she was at work for 27 hours of it. She even says on her profile that she's on there because her schedule stops her getting out and meeting people.

I rather stupidly believe that if you manage to get the relationship to the stage where you can stay over at each other's houses, you'll do okay because you have the snuggles and sleeping and chats and meals to share, but it's getting there that is the problem. I am also probably completely deluded out of the desire for hugs.

Anyway. Will ask if she's doing okay tomorrow.
