starting to look like something I'd ride.

Now being trolled by a broken wire in the clock loom, wiggling it makes the high-beam go on and off and also the tacho twitches. Should be fairly easy to find.

Neutral light is still AWOL but hoping it's the switch.

It pulls away, but slips as soon as it goes over 5k.

If I accelerate realllllllllly slowly, it will get to about 40 in 6th, which is no good to man nor beast heh.

Fortunately EBC make the clutches so aren't too hard to come by.

Updatings tiem.

Backstory first though.

In January we got flooded bigtime, silly me didn't move the bike to higher ground so it got a bit trashed. The water got about a foot high, so didn't make it to the airbox or zorst, however things that were new and shiny aren't so new anymore. Discs have got a bit corroded, the chain is probably shagged, and the chrome on the bottom of the forks has got a bit pitted. Nothing too bad, it should all polish out. The wiring loom, that was a bit fragile before, was completely trashed so I ripped it out and replaced it with a nearly-new one; an absolute fuckcunt of a job to change but hey-ho.

Have been bitting and bobbing on it for a week or so as time allows. So...

* new battery (old one deep discharged / internal short)
* all the electrics now work properly
* brakes done
* generally cleaned and tidied
* it runs

Will post pics when I've found my camera.

Thumbs Up
