Grandpa: [in response to Frank, aimed at Dwayne] Let me tell ya, don't do that stuff. When you're young, you're crazy to do that shit.

Frank: [to Grandpa] Well what about you?

Grandpa: [to Frank] What about me? I'm old. When you're old you're crazy not to do it.

let him get a bike he likes, stick it on classic bike insurance and ride what he likes as long as he likes. Unless he does something silly no one is likely to pull him over anyway .... how many times do the cops pull over a mature adult on a bike and ask to see their licence,,,,, ?

Someone I knew just got himself a bike, got it insured and rode it.... never had a lesson in his life and he rode it until he was 76 then sold it ....... bless 'im rebel till he could rebel no more

Buy a BSA 125, in shite condition but with plate and frame that checks out. Stick the plate on a 250-400 bike from the same era.

Yes it's stupid, but with circumstances, it dosen't really matter.

Bantams are OK through a soft focus mist of nostalgia/booze/substances. But are actually a fecking pain in the arse and about as reliable as a politician's promise in day to day use. Same goes for most Brit crap. It's crude and when you own it, you can see why the Japs cleaned up.

With all due apologies to misty eyed Brit lovers Wink
