That is very very tempting, only about 40 mins away too...

Could I fit a pitbike into the back of a Volvo S60? Laughing

Also do you know what bike they supply in that deal? I know nothing of pit bikes.

That looks pretty cool mate Thumbs Up

Unfortunately I've just coughed up on a car for classic trials, so won't be able to afford to do it this year. Soooooo tempting at that price though lol

Stomp 140Z (note to self, buy z cam for next year) or similar. Choice of 10" or 12" wheels, only used to be allowed 10s before, but must be spoked. Same tyres for everyone.

Here's mine.

It's a two bike trailer, not sure if selling yet, leave it with me.

They seem to be pretty cheap on eBay. Might buy one and one of those tow bar bike carries and do a few practice days.

Budget in for wheels, Sava MC31 tyres, tubes, a c90 exhaust (£30) and a transponder if you want to race. Let me know if you buy and you want to do a practice day, I'll come along and fall off, don't think I've ridden it for a day without falling off atleast twice. Laughing

P.s on 10" wheels the tyres are a fucking slut to replace.

If I had money and lived the right end of the country, would definitely be tempted.

Maybe I should see if I can get a job down that way so I can come play Razz.

(Oh and if my wrists actually work for it, which I doubt Rolling Eyes.)

Out of interest, apart from ease of tyre changes and 2", what difference is there between 10" and 12" tyres.

Wrists should be fine G, they're only short races and no wrist pressure.

I've never ridden on 12's, they're supposed to be more stable, the 10's are very twitchy, but the circuit is pretty tight so it's not really an issue.

Not sure if they'd be an advantage.

I wish my car hadn't blown up on Saturday, I really want in on this. How much do you think converting to the race regs from the stock z140 would cost?

Looks like a brand new stock z140 ( 12" rear/14" front with trail tyres, not a c90 exhaust) is widely available for £720 delivered.

When playing on my trials bike and really not doing anything too serious or for extended periods they started to flare up.
But, this is why I do want to them a go at least; hoping they will be ok.

Ok, so going on that;

New bike: £720
Hand guards: £20
Crash bobbins: £10 (make some out of skateboard wheels)
Catch tanks £0 (improvise)
Wheels: £55 - £70
Tyres: £80?
Tubes: £10
Exhaust: £30
Transponder: £100
Entries: £360

=£1400 + the hassle of building the fucker!

3 Sisters or Aintree may be interested in something like this, would have thought it may be a decent money spinner for them.

3 Sister have a pretty busy schedule, plus there are loads of bike racing going on there. And I don't think a track like Aintree would be suited to these bikes.

However, the indoor karting places around the NW could be pretty awesome with it

I'll be doing F400 with them next year.

£1500 will also get you a ready to go f400 bike, a 600 steel frame, a pre-injection 600, minitwins.

Plenty of options of big bikes for £1500 if it's only for race use.

Yeah, plus the tyres and entry costs that go with it.

I just treat this as cheap fun, it costs next to nothing. Probably about £500 in total for me next year, you can do that in a weekend on a big bike.

I totally agree, and if a local kart track did run this I'd be first one in. I was merely explaining why I don't think it'd happen at 3-Sisters.
