So in June this year I commutes a heinous crime which killed a lot of kittens and a lot of homeless children (around 12,000) because my number plate was too small.

I paid my £30 fine 9 days later and thought nothing of it.

Yesterday I get a letter, this odd because I never get letters, open it up to find HM seal on it and summons to court to pay £90 for my number plate fine.

So I ring the court this morning and I am told that Gwent police have put a new system in place and it keeps reissuing fines, apparently someone had a fine multiplied 5 times, and the courts are trying to clean up the mess, so she puts me through to the fpn office.

I explain, and I am told " no you've only partially paid the fine and you need to pay the £60 remaining"
Told them the ticket says £30, and there are a few other errors.

Takes my number and says he will get the ticket up and investigate it.

They called back " there are many errors on the ticket, we've cancelled the court summons, we've ripped up the ticket and refunded you your money"

It goes very well with £370 cheque I am getting for a claim I put into a private company after their car park damaged my bike exhaust.

Tonight I shall dine like a sir.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Went to a place called Goytre Wharf, part of the canal and river trust, I rode into their premises went over their speed bump and smashed my exhaust on it, bent it slightly and dented it.

Emailed them, got passed around a bit Before speaking to their consultants.

Showed them the damage, they refused to pay out, I pressed more as their speed bumps were illegal, and they caved in and had to pay me off

110mm high with a vertical face of 20mm.

Yeah was posting on phone and it auto-corrected to commutes instead of committed.

Still result, funny if they had kept quiet they would have kept my £30 Laughing Laughing Laughing
