No... what damage has been done.

Why de-value it even more (especially with your recent thread on changing bikes...) just flog it and have a more fun bike.

Im not changing bikes..... The CBR will be my commuter and the zx4 will be my "fun" bike.

Its not a dig and not a joke...... the fairing that needs replacing is nearly 350 quid....... i can get the whole bike repaired and sprayed a colour i absolutely love for not much more than that.....

I dont see why you have an issue with that, it is my bike afterall Wink

If it's your commuter, then chances are you'll drop it again. The odds are even more likely if you're new to riding... Laughing

Ask the garage to fit a stable door while they're at it.

The point, Einstein, is you're throwing money at the results, not the cause. YTC.

And yes, I could quite easily alter the image to your spec. but I shan't 'cause you're being beastly to me.

But what is damaged exactly?

As a quick fix, vinyl wrap.

the left hand fairing and tail are scratched quite badly. The fairing is in two bits... ill replace the inner (has a vent that sticks through the outer) as its only 45 quid, but the outer is 270 quid. insane.

Not able to get the blue exactly right, but this seems to be pretty close, should give you an idea.

When I make a shitty comment, believe me, you'll recognise it. Even then, you won't be able to do a thing about it because it's officially covered under s(1)(a)(vii) of the Harmless Banter Act 2012.

How did you manage to drop your bike? Have you considered doing a How To Not Drop Your Bike Course? I hear they're very good. That's the suggestion, BTW - in case your ears skip over it, being under-equipped in the vision department as they usually are. Unless they're synesthetic, of course.

How's that whole angry "don't post in my thread" thing going for ya?

Jesus man, have you got cancer or something? Some bird took you for everything you own? You make me look like a kitten and that's really saying something. Eh?

Did it in Gimp. There's loads of tutorials on changing the colour of things using it, and loads of ways of doing it. This was mostly picking the bodywork with the fuzzy select tool and then dicking about with the hue saturation until it was about right.
