FP1 just about to start. For Lorenzo to take the championship he must win and Marquez be fourth or lower...

FP1

Marquez
Lorenzo
Pedrosa
SMITH!!!
Rossi
Bautista
Crutchlow
Bradl

Marquez is insane to watch, and chuffed with the early speed of Smith.

If Lorenzo finishes first and Marquez fourth then Marquez still wins it I thought? Anything outside the top four and a Lorenzo win and it's 99's!!

I think Marquez will do it, he's had great form all season!!

Can't believe that Rossi has just sacked Jeremy Burgess! Shocked

IMO. He's clutching at straws about who to blame for his career going downhill.

Maybe Casey was right...about his ambition.......! Smile

Felt quite sad for Burgess when he was saying he didn't see it coming, he seemed a bit embarrassed by it.
I think its a decision that will backfire for Rossi as his career is on the slide and that will probably continue with or without Burgess but many will blame the sacking of Burgess and credit the entire 46 success to Burgess.

The moto 3 race should be good, top 3 in the championship all starting on the front row and whoever wins, wins the championship.
I'm supporting Salom im moto3 and Lorenzo for GP although that seems pretty unlikely

Agree, Rossi should go out this year. Unfortunately it's going to be a classic case of going on too long. Which is a damn shame.

Good first half of the race, Lorenzo did everything he could really to try and back Marquez up into the pack whilst managing to fend Pedrosa off at the same time.
Unfortunately for Lorenzo there just wasn't anybody else quick enough to mix it up in the front group, which is probably why he thought sod it might as well just win the last race.
Marquez rode a very controlled race, I'm sure he had the pace to fight with Lorenzo but restrained himself and let him go.

Anyway good bye bbc coverage, good bye moto gp.

More likely that Lorenzo would have taken out himself and Pedrosa and then Marquez could have walked to the flag!

First half of MotoGP and virtually all of Moto3 was awesome. Moto2 was a bit of a letdown but even the battle for 3rd went right to the line.

Good way to finish the season. Great work by MM but I still wanted JLo to win, he rode out of his skin.

Lorenzo...what a truly great rider...Still my 2013 Rider of the Year.

Rossi vs Burgess. Poor Jerry, cast aside like an old sock.

Marc...I hate him...Love him..Hate him.....Bloody hell he's brave.

Good season in all classes and have set the machine to record testing on Monday and Tuesday. Embarassed
