From today any links to eBay pages from BCF will be re-written by the forum to include a BCF affiliate ID, so that following one of these links and then bidding on something will generate some Penny Coin Penny Coin

Silly example: https://www.ebay.co.uk

Nice.

They still doing £6 odd for new signups?

Always thought an Amazon 'BCF Bookshop' might bring in a quid or two as well, their affilliate thing's not amazing but you get a cut of everything that goes in the basket.

Bleh. We used to do the ebay thing on Maiden and did okay on it until the label got all funny about the amount of bootleg stuff on there. It was £6.50 for a registration in them days, and with all the charidee auctions we were doing... nice little earner.

Every time I click on a link that goes to ebay I get a 'page cannot be found' message. Only been happening today as far as I'm aware.

You don't have a firewall or something on do you. mine does that when using peer-guardian.

It's working here at work now. I don't have a firewall running on my home computer. It only seemed to be ebay links and it was working fine before. Will try asking my brother if he's made any changes on his computer. He has the internet connection set up on his computer that I share.

It's most likely some form of "ad blocker" software causing the problem.

Hmm maybe related to that ad blocker that comes with SP2. However it's not affecting this computer.
