Sorry Sam, I appear to be hijacking your thread a little, so I'll keep it short; I've gotten hold of an NC24 from sickpup, which looks to be in runnable nick, although it's a bit ratty round the edges due to a series of unfortunate events. Neither lemons nor snickets were involved.

400cc four cylinder bikes are the best things that one can buy. It's fun and it never gets too scary when you push the bike to the limit. I miss my little honda, so much revs and slow enough at full throttle, nothing could ever gone wrong. Thumbs Up

No, I have not. I couldn't get one that I'd like. Well, my mate has MZ150 in the garage, that he lets me ride every now and then, but I think it's not what you've meant. Smile

I'd like to have any 250cc and bigger japanese sports two stroke, which is loads of money that I just don't have. There is a chance to have a decent two stroke, but the money is ridiculous.

Laughing I'm only about 50kg lighter than the bike itself, mate. It's not going to be mindbendingly fast in my charge, I assure you.

Still can't believe I'd forgotten about the long bit of wide bore transparent plastic hose in the boot of the car.

Never syphon petrol through black hose.

That said, your NC24 could be old and neglected enough to still have sweet tasting antifreeze.

Don't worry about it mate, its close enough on topic Wink just watch the petrol tank, they're getting thin on the ground, mirrors are a wonky fitment and the collector boxes rot out, but you're likely aware of these anyway Very HappyThumbs Up sound good though!

I'm sorry Robby Crying or Very sad its been playing on my mind to replace the NC30 for two years now. If it makes it any less disappointing I'll make sure you only encounter the R1 at BCF events Thumbs Up

Bit of a shitter when you get a gob full of vapour or fuel! I usually only have garden hose to hand though!

I love the sketchy-ness of the light board and number plate! So when's the ride out planned? You are inviting us all along, right?

Alot of the blue rope is excess, but i didn't have a knife to cut it off with! I do have a thing for blue rope Wink
The light board was fine, Sam wouldn't let me duct tape it to the front fairing Rolling Eyes
Even more sketchy was the loading, because we weren't supplied with a ramp, so i made a tilt+slide! V

Aye, got most of the bits I'd do to an NC30 anyway! 17 inch wheel being the most obvious.

Paid £1500, then had £100 worth of extra bits aswell while I was there! Its scruffy, but solid mechanicals, perfect for what I need Mr. Green

Early next year, when the good weather is back Very Happy anyone that wants to come along is invited Thumbs Up

The plate and light board were epic, real redneck engineering! Wink nothing moved an inch in the 230 mile trip home, so would regard it a success Smile
