RXS100... stopped working, repaired + lolz.

So a while ago i picked up an RXS100 for a few dollars off a friend. It performed admirably up till about 3 weeks ago when i kicked it over, it backfired massively then refused to start. I pulled my gs out and went to work on that instead, but i got round to looking at the rxs the other day.

The inlet tract was massacred. The backfire blew the reeds open and mashed the inlet manifold. I flipped over the reeds so they bent shut instead of open and replaced the manifold. Still no life. A bit of headscratching later and my Dad mentioned the energy induction system, ah yes that thing that is a major air leak when it's broke. Sure enough pulling the pipe off the manifold and putting a thumb over the hole made the bike run perfectly.

So I went hunting under the tank for the EI plenum to be presented with it blown off it's mountings and with a huge crack in it. For the moment I am waiting on a new one but for now, I whittled a cork down to plug it.

Whilst pissing about doing this, I popped the cafe seat for my CG on the back for shits and gigs and it went straight on... i mean like perfectly, pefect length, width, so i might have another project on when spring rolls round.

Also, the seat base has been made out of wood by someone...

ybr front and rear end should fit with abit of fiddling, inline filter slows them down, nice seat base
