In other news.
Rea has bust his foot.
Vinales is fastest in Moto2.
Rossi's Moto3 Team are up and at it in testing.

...and time is ticking for Ducati. Gotta be open class, hasn't it?

Lineup - Meh - No spalders or Moody.

Gavin Emmett - Good.
Craig Doyle - Meh
Toseland - Teeth
Iwan Thomas - What?
Hodgeson - Meh
Julian Ryder - Logical progression but preferred Moody's commentary.
Keith Huewen - Never heard him speak.
Melanie Sykes - Tits I suppose.

I know. Nice trio weren't they. I preferred it when they had Mamola in the pits...all good things etc.

Emmett will be doing the pits and I like Huewen and Ryder. As for the others they'll be doing the studio filler, and there's a lot of filler in their schedule.
5 hrs per session if I read it right.

The BT line up seems pretty shit.

all Hodgeson will do is constantly say shit like "when i was racing i did this and that" and james toseland isn't any good on tv imo, he's as annoying as the Lowes brothers, just always talking to fast with his squeaky voice.

still, no parrish or cox. Thumbs Up ( yet)

If hanging off like that gets Rossi back to the top of the leaderboard you can bet your bottom dollar that the rest of the grid will be doing the same next year.

Times from today's test (Track was very hot)
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BhZTcEbCAAETn5v.jpg:large

Lorenzo and Rossi complaining about the new Bridgestones.
The satellite Yamahas finally get seamless gearshifts. Smith being the happiest out of the brit riders with Cal and Scott giving it the stiff upper lip. PBM have chosen to stay and develop their bike in the uk.

Marquez will miss the test in Phillip Island too.

Final times:

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BhjZdVlCEAA9NiE.png:large

Apparently Lorenzo has been hear muttering "They're Rossi tyres" as well as obviously throwing his toys out the pram. Laughing

Pedrosa on same time as Rossi, which makes you think Marquez will be faster still.

Redding making solid progress. Ducati going well.

Esparagaro (A) is too. Did a race sim and he wasn't far off Pedrosa. Thumbs Up

Oh yeah! Suzuki going well too.

Laptimes are pinch of salt worthy there I reckon. But check out how many laps they did. Lorenslow did 70! If that's not trying to work out a problem, I don't know what is...

Ooo..Just like WSBK it's looking good for racing fans.

Ducati to open class..good move.

Not saying he isn't working out problems but Lorenzo is well known for his lappage in practice sessions.

Them pesky new Bridgestones eh.

I like how Ducati released all their software to Magneti Marelli, who distributed that to the other 'Open' teams whilst they were a Factory team.

Then decide to go Open class. Winner! Laughing

It's nothing but positives to them.
