Supermoto wheels are £1300 with brakes and tyres Confused so I've got some converted FZR wheels for the time being as they are mucho cheaper.

They are nearly on!!

The rear wheel has had the cush drive welded in with a metal plate and a custom disc has been made as a standard disc isn't wide enough. The spacers and stuff are all ready and wheel can now be fitted!

Front wheel is the same, spacers etc are ready to be fitted, just waiting on my MX Stand to turn up.

Next thing is installing a digital dash (ooo trick) and a supermoto fender and headlight.

I'm either going to get some matching graphics for the tail fender or get a new set of plastics in all black (I think it looks cool Razz)

The wheels are being powdercoated black next week Very Happy and the front disc centre is being sprayed gold Wink as I can't find a chaep wavy disc for it and I'm not spending too much as I'm buying a proper supermoto wheel set up and beringer brakes in a month or two.. Very Happy

Trackday (race Razz) no 1 is 23rd July provided I can get there. Should be fun Very Happy

The wheels...

How they should look fitted Very Happy

Will stick some more pictures up once I finally get these wheels fitted and powdercoated, and will also stick pics up of the moto fender.

I've also got a CRD race pipe to go on and shortly I need to re-jet it and I need to play about with the gearing (I have about 4 set ups to chose from) future plans for a YZF cam and possibly a 450cc big bore Razz

The wheels should look "alright"... I'm not a big fan off 3 spoked wheels on motards, and they aren't really ideal as it means I can't jump the bike more than a foot or so unless I want to end up at local A&E because my wheel snapped Laughing but they'll do for now Smile

The bike has a full MX set up too which it's (almost) in now.. and I'm hoping to try out an enduro later this year/next - they look fun Smile

CIA seem to want £1750 to insure me on the WR Shocked which I promptly told them where to shove it.

They have quoted £1450 to insure both my R6 AND my WR when I am 19 at end of this month, so I'll wait until then and hopefully Danny can get me an even better deal Wink

Anyway... heres the pics of the CRD pipe Very Happy and something a little extra too Razz

Test rode it up my road but had to stop as neighbours were giving me funny looks cos I was wheelying it off curbs Laughing

Mucho mucho fun to ride, in the 2nd pic, see the flattened bit of tyre where I slid down my road into my drive hehe

So far the rear wheel seems to fit nicely so they should be getting powdercoated next week Smile

Front wheel is to be done later/tomorow Very Happy

Now that the wheels are fitted.............................................. they need to come off again... to be powdercoated, disc centre painted, rear disc de-rusted and supermoto fender and digital dash fitted. Will post more pics when they've been powdercoated Cool
