I've seen some of these 'Street Cops' type programmes where tazers are presented as something wonderful - in one episode they thought they had someone with a history of violence/firearms who had gone into a shop.

They hid by the door and tazered him as soon as he emerged without even introducing themselves - it turned out they had the wrong bloke anyway..

it seems its a lot harder for a copper to use a tazer in the US than the UK.Unfortunatley the tazer is the weapon of choice when police are given the thankless task of detaining people with mental health problems.Partly,due to the fear and ignorance about mental illness many coppers have their tazers ready and are very keen to use them for people with 'mental health ' problems.

I want one ,it could prevent me being mistakenly tazerd by police officers,The police are very good at accidentaly killing people using 'mistaken identity'

I've just seen a video of the bloke they tazered. He can hardly effing walk let alone attack anyone. He has already had 2 strokes and as said is just about blind. They could have killed him with a tazer. I hope he sues the arse off them, and I'm not usually one to support that.
