I'm trying to prep my pitbike for racing but I'm struggling with a catch can....
What does it do?
Where are people connecting them?
Does it need some sort of special fitting to the hoses?
Does it need to be sealed? If not, what's the point of it when an off will still result in whatever's caught in it spilling onto the track?
Does it collect both fuel and oil?
I was also thinking about lock-wire, what needs doing?
Is it just the sump plug and filler cap?
Should I take the sidestand off? I thought that that might dig into the track as well in a spill.
Would I need to remove the brake light and holder or just tape over?
The bikes got no baffle, my daft mate took it out and threw it away , would one of the cheap universal baffles fleabay, modified to fit, be OK?
I've been reading this repeatedly and nothing springs out

I think I best just try to head to Whilton Mill seeing as it's only in Daventry and see what the others are doing. ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K

Most people route the engine breather pipe off the back of engine down into the catch tray that's bolted to the bottom of the engine . Only sump plug needs lock wire you'll also need crash bobbins hand guards or bobbins on the end of your handlebars |
