NC23 delivered just in time for the good weather. Nice. EDIT coincidentally saw an NC23 this afternoon, the first grey import that I've seen round here!

Should be a good first bike, just make sure the reg/rec doesn't fry Thumbs Up

The reg/recs are notorious for failing on them alongside a few other Hondas of that era (NC29, VFR 400/750, CBR1100).

When it fails it usually leads to poor battery performance, running, starting issues and flickering headlights, its a simple enough component to replace or convert to a better one off an 05 R6.

Very nice that. Even if it has been crashed/repaired, if it runs nicely and you keep on top of maintenance to keep it that way. Who cares?

My Bros 400 is somehow on the original reg/rec from 1988. But I make a point of not sitting in traffic and letting the bike get hot. Especially as it's about an inch wide. My favourite bike for commuting on by far!

Have fun! Still want an IL4 400 but can't justify a 5th bike. Laughing

It's pretty much a winter hack. In hot weather the 6R comes out (or now the BMW). I guess that helps if it's an overheating problem...

Mine spent a lot of time in stop start traffic so guess i cant complain too much. I saw a few people on that hawkgtforums use a laptop fan for cooling, probably should have invested!
