Hey stop slagging off the teapot! If you've not got a lot of cash to spend they are not a bad bike for the money, and notoriously relaible. If your engine does die it's not hard to find a new one that fits, off all manner of Suzukis from about a 15 year period.

If the rear shock does turn out to be knackered there are also a lot of shocks off recent bikes that fit with minimal fuss and a massive handling improvement.

I so nearly ebay sniped one of these a few months ago, tell me it isn't cool!

I have a mate with an oil cooled bandit 650 with a gsxr shock and it isn't a slow or ill handling machine. Yes it's not a sports bike, but it's also much more comfortable and cheaper to run!

It isn't cool.

It's an 80's rot box based around a Bandit. What's cool about it? under braked under suspended and overweight.

A mate viewed it yesterday...diddnt buy.

I hear it's a total shed now & he'll take £800. Rear end is held on with zipties and it doesnt start.

I'm lost. What bike are we talking about? Question

Standard. Doesn't start, same engine as mine, seems legit.

Didn't spot that. Bandit 250 and 400 weren't released until 1989, then the 600 in 1995. Laughing

If you have any of those still knocking around I would really be into getting hold of some. I'm pretty damn clean living these days - well, I kind of always was tbh - but still.
