At the end of the day, a bike is a bike, it probably isnt for everyone, but it means your on the road gaining experience and having fun (maybe) Laughing plus, youl probably ride it alot more than people do on here!

On a plus note, you get some points for it being green.

Enjoy mate.

yep, it's for commuting and the odd sunny weekend ride. for my budget and purpose, it's ideal.

Plus I think for a first non-scooter bike it's OK. Baby steps I know!

I like it, it's in mint condition, it's really fun to ride and it's cheap. Very Happy

Why didn't you buy a proper motorcycle for the same money instead? Thinking

Define "proper motorcycle". Are you referring to the fact that it's not a Bandit/Fazer/Hornet/SV/ER6...or the fact that it's not 600cc?

What you like isn't what he likes isn't what I like. Get over it... I'm sharing a pic of my new bike, nothing more. If you read through my previous threads you'll see I have taken on board a lot of advice and have made a choice based on all factors that affect me most. Bought it because I like it and it works for me.

I meant something with a 4 cylinder engine in it. There's no need to be angry right away. Smile

I'm such a sucker for a good ninja, big or small. Always have been. Kwak don't always make such reliable machines but the aesthetics are almost always exactly what I want a bike to look like. Good choice. Don't listen to the naysayers!

Looks ok. Enjoy.

Not the worst bike in the world. Still I would rather have that than a cruiser Wink

There's no problem, he can ride what he likes.

There's ribbing for lols and there's being a cunt
stop caring so much about other peoples lives and you might be a lot less stressed you may find

Probably cheap as fuck to run, I wouldn't mind a 250 for my commute, the XJ600 would just be a waste of fuel, fucking barge

I don't like the ninja image YEAH M8 BARE NINJA INNIT

And that's what matters Very Happy

My brother had one of them as his first post-test bike. I know he loved it, and was only saying the other day that he was thinking of getting another to go with the big BMW he uses for long distance commuting.

I wouldn't mind the 300cc version of this with some bolt on mods and a power commander. The 300's make around 34bhp r/w, and I reckon with a good suspension set up, decent sticky tyres etc, it would be a fun track bike too!

BCF recently seems a bit to IL4 or nothing for my liking. I've had IL4's liked and enjoyed them too, but I'm all for something different.

I do see the point with low budget secondhand middle weight bikes, when BCF'ers suggest 10year old sports 600's as std answer for someone wanting a bike, as I can appreciate the 'you get bike more for your money', but I'm glad that there's plenty of people turning their back on typical 4cyl sportsbikes now, as variation and people liking other styles of machine is a good thing IMO.

Always thought 250 was a good size for town riding, nice to see them making a comeback. And that looks good IMO, enjoy Thumbs Up
