awesome mate!

If I ever get rid of my 690, I'll definitely be going back to a DRZ too.

Whats the service intervals like on these? Are they in hours or miles?

I'm intrigued by these, has a short blast on my mates KTM years ago but had vibration white finger after about 10 miles, good fun though!

Older SMC's = 3,000 miles
New SMC-R's = 6,000 miles
DRZ's = 3,000 miles

Personally, all those are too long for me, I do mine at 1,500 - 2,000. DRZ only takes about 1.7/1.8 litres of oil anyway.

Haven't done too much to the DRZ recently, only a few things:

Swapped the battery for a JMT lithium ion one.

Removed the lighthead and put a number board on instead. Not too sure on this looks wise, MOT is due next month so might just leave the headlight on. It's for a Kawasaki KXF450 but fits ok. All the headlight mounting brackets are still there behind it.

Got a hold of some off road wheels for it for cheap.

Looks awesome - although I wonder if the new front cowling needs some graphics or a race number...

Well I've got a few Yoshimura stickers I was going to put on but like I says not really sure of the overall look so I've been reluctant to put them on.
