Best me to it. Going to LCR apparently:

Will be glad to see him on a podium bike with nothing to whine about. Iannone to get a full fat factory bike.

That was the first site to pop up on Twitter. No doubt a factory Honda will be good for him, he will definitely need to perform next year though.

Iannone will be hilarious on the proper factory bike, let's hope he goes dive bombing the podium contenders as often as possible.

I agree the ride would be better given to someone like Johnny Rea.

Wouldn't really rate Bautista any higher then Bradl (probably lower) and he's managed to keep his ride at honda for the last 3 years.

Indeed, HRC have overruled Faulsto Gresini, and Scott is getting the full fat bike next year.

Bradl is going to Forward. Fairly open secret. Thumbs Up

And on merit, the best RCV1000R rider gets engine upgrades at Motegi. Scott has beaten Nicky and Aoyama most times out, he deserves it.

That's a little unfair, there aren't many riders outside the top four that have challenged for podiums and poles like he did on the Tech 3 bike. One race last year, Mugello I think, if it had been two laps longer he'd have caught Marquez and won.

He's just not good enough to ride the Duke like it should. Some riders seem to ge able to muscle it around, some don't.

Must be embarrassing for Crutchlow when Iannone is running rings around him on the pramac bike.

I think Cal has pulled a blinder here. Last year he would have been on the LCR had Bradl not pulled his one and only podium out of the bag at Laguna. He then signs for Ducati, makes a shed load of cash and he's not expected to perform on a bike that won't turn a corner without folding the front or lose all of it's electricity, in typical Italian style.

Next year at LCR, with a British title sponsor that will want to keep him, he should be back up there fighting for 3rd/4th/5th. Set up a decent retirement fund for himself and still riding a factory-ish bike.

Can't help but think he'll have to wind his neck in next year, Honda are a bit more ruthless with riders that speak their mind.

Everyone told Cal the Ducati was a dog, i suspect it was Cal that wanted to use his get out of jail clause otherwise Ducati wouldn't have announced he was staying the week previous.

I have a proper dislike for Rea. I don't like the way he barges through riders to get passed them when he's run out of skill to get past them cleanly.

Conversely, I think Rea is brilliant to stay as competitive as he does on what is basically a six year old bike. The Blade is hugely underpowered vs the rest of the pack and he can still win on it. He's also much, much better than his team mate.

Definitely think his loyalty to HRC has been misplaced, and will ultimately go unrewarded.

I think this is just out of frustration because like Slacker24seven said the Blade is under powered and thats the only way he can be competitive.

I think its time he left Honda and showed what he can really do on a decent bike

I think it has more to do with their style than how good they are.

Afterall Rossi and Melandri aren't crap riders, but they didn't couldn't ride the Ducati because they didn't have the style of riding required.

It's partly down to style and it also seems to reward a rider who pushes the Bridgestones hard. Remember when you saw the ducs battling with the leaders, then as the laps ticked down and the riders had one front end slide too many they lost confidence.

Riders like Iannone and Dovi are showing big cojones and they haven't got what you'd call a Marquez style or Stoner style of riding.

IIRC it's 2016 when motogp gets a new tyre manufacturer. Maybe it'll suit the ducs and yams more and the less so for Hondas.

That'll be the next big shake up of the rules. Switching to Michelins and 17" wheels is about all that's confirmed at the minute. Suspect it'll be a version of the current "open" rules myself.

They need to stop fiddling with the regs each season. They bag on about cost saving, but how much does it cost to redesign a who new prototype motorcycle every couple of years.

Oh yeah, forgot about the 17" wheel size. Yep, it's certainly been very fiddly with the regs.
