I'm just back from 2 hour ride. I keep grinning and cannot stop.

This thing is crazy fast... oh and it's so easy to go fast. The front get light easily. I need to be careful with opening the throttle on corner exits when in lower gears.

Compared to my old ZX6R J2 it's smaller, more happy to change directions... suspension is stiffer but I like it. The bike fits my body - I didn't get tired, no pains/aches I could just keep going for hours. Shame it got dark.

I'm so glad that I didn't buy another 600cc. I cannot wait to ride this beast again Very Happy

The more I think about it, the more I'm tempted to sack off the idea of a CBR600 and go for a Blade instead.

Lovely looking bike Thumbs Up

Also, subframe looks twisted, chain is slack etc

Thanks.

I'm going to keep it standard so no plans to buy new exhaust, double bubble screen, anodised tat etc.

When the parts get worn I will get some lighter sprockets and DID or EK chain.. but thats about how far it will get "modified".

I just ordered a new genuine Honda tank pad. The tyres I've got now have a lot of thread left (Pirelli Diablo?), but I don't know how old they are and I don't trust them. I will use them this year but then get a new set next Spring (Pilot Power 3).
