this is my first bike an first attempt at doing anything related to work on my bike so take it easy on me, was over on chinamotoforum but no one ever replies over there (rarely)

i have just started the journey on rebuilding my adrenaline, i have a gs125 engine here for it and lots of other new add ons, i have only sprayed the frame so far as i need to get hold of a better swinging arm this week, i am hoping to have this project done within 2-3 weeks and am hoping you guys will be able to help me get it running :riding: again!

so i wire brushed the frame and gave it a good coat of jenolite

I wouldn't put the chinese head on the Suzuki engine! One of these was my first bike, great to learn maintainence on since it kept falling to bits. Looking pretty good so far. Thumbs Up

I got a straight through pipe and larger carb from Xianxian Racing or something, don't think they are still around. Took me a while to get it tuned up so if you go down that route prepare for a lot of fiddling/jet changes. I still see mine blatting about sometimes when I go back to my hometown Laughing

You might find this thread interesting.

Is the spring and bolt for the camchain tensioner perchance? the c90 has 2 similiar bolts that could be confused...

Nice paint distribution & build up Thumbs Up I'm willing to bet you ain't using rattle cans Laughing Your clutch looks fine but the action will depend on how much meat you have on the plates. I agree with Quarka re: the head but the rocker cover should be fine - if the cap fits, wear it... Good work fella Thumbs Up

IIRC, it's the plug with the three wires that are the ones to the tail light. I believe that the green/yellow wire is the common earth, although I can't remember which one's the brake switch line.

There's every chance that the bike won't run very well with that carb/filter setup. When I had mine, it was perfectly happy with a pod on the stock carb - a wider-bore carb does not directly translate to more power.

I used a 26mm on a 16hp 140cc engine, that carb is indeed slightly too big.

Project is looking good though, and nice to see someone spending lots of time and money on a 125, and the level of finish so far has impressed me, (even though sticker bombing makes me sick with rage)

There's been a bit of this kind of thing on here lately, like the Guy with the CBR125, where people have been doing some good stuff with 125's and really decent quality of work, which is something you don't expect on 125's due to their reputation/owner profile.

I do like a good sticker bomb, I did half of my front mudguard to cover a massive crack. Stylish yet functional Laughing

I think with the stickers: if its stuff from products you've actually bought, which build up over time then it's acceptable. It's a bit ghey to just buy stickers and whack them on like that tho.

Similar idea to the idea a rat-bike should naturally develop, not be deliberately made from a bike in ok nick.

Running a 28mm on a 50cc, because the 21mm was far too small.
