Also that has aftermarket rear shocks, should have "Showa" ones.

Looks nice, loved riding them Thumbs Up

it's a '92 Thumbs Up

i know they are aftermarket ones, the showas are difficult to come by especially for reasonable money. i'll likely just replace the dead hagons with more hagons. theyre £135 a pair, which imo is quite reasonable. unless someone has any suggestions for something that performs much better without breaking the bank?

got a line on some hyperpro progressive fork springs for an alright price too, any feedback on them? chap i know fitted them to his mrs bike but as she's a tootsy little thing they were too stiff and just bounced her about was her feedback, so he took them back off and put them in his shed in the box to be doomed for eternity.

screen was on it already. i don't mind it. might take it off to see the difference.

tis a fun ride, probably closest to knee down of any bike i've ridden, even with the squidge-o-matic suspension situation.

well that's how it is registered.. anywhere I can look for what paints were available in what years?

oddly, when insuring it, it seems to come up as a 400 bros. so some knobber has done something wrong when importing it I'd imagine.

Not so sure about that. Mine had Hagons, was a standard bike as far as I could tell.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I've always loved these, but never actually had a go on one, I think they just look like a proper bike. The kind of thing if you asked a five year old to draw a motorbike you would end up with. That's meant to be a compliment, somehow.

I would've thought Showa would be oem - can't really think that honda would fit british shocks. Well, I dunno. In any case, showas are stock on the vfr and the cb5.

Maybe the real early ones had Hagon, you should have these, may have been added post 95.

I've never seen Hagon's as standard fit on any mass-produced bike, and would also be very surprised to see the Japs using them as original fit. But I would think they'd be quite a good choice for this bike for road use, especially if you have budget limitations.

Indeed, Showa were the ones they used back then... Hagon were definitely an uprated one... or at least one that looked less flash but did the job in making it look classic but modern.

Showa were OEM on these plus the 1000 cc big one. Ridiculous price new somewhere around £600-700, There's a Hagon with a top shroud that look pretty good for about £175

i think the ones with the various shrouds are the same spec as the normal classic ones.

the "type 2810" ones at the bottom of here are the seemingly better spec ones with 10 way damping adjustment
