Be prepared to prove ownership. They probably won't freely give out the key code to just anybody who asks for it. ____________________ History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of men - BOC |

there two aspects to this
1 is the physical key which can be made easily enough
as blanks can easily be bought and cut
2 is the transponder chip in the key, that's the snaggy bit
and as you already know, where the cost comes in.
In the absence of a cunning plan or workaround
you may have to bite the bullet and get in touch with this lot for instance and cough up the dosh.

I doubt you're the first person to lose a key so there may be cunning wheezes to deal with this situation but it may involve swapping
immobiliser and or ECU boxes or crafty electronic trickery.
All of this will take time and money
so
spend the money get a spare and don't lose the keys again ____________________ bikers smell of wee |

Thanks.
House move kaos blood sweat and tears and then lost keys.
Never again.
The bike is protected 2 ways CDI and as ive found out there is no bypass cdi available for it probably because the thottle body also needs the code from the key.
So it looks like im coughing up |

Don't worry. You'll find your keys shortly after you get the new one. ____________________ History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of men - BOC |
