That is completely stunning.

I've actually saved a copy to my computer. For sure I'm owning one of these.

BTW, front tyre looks low/flat in 2nd picture - Am sure you know this, but just incase! Karma

Thumbs Up

Look at the rear tyre and sidestand in that pic, all sit below the ground. Probably just the curb or something.

Great photos... always wanted to be able to take some like that. I take it it can't be done with a point and shoot camera Sad

Front tyres fine cheers mate, just the unevenness of the road. That and I was laying flat on the floor just emphasized it further.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Most point and shoots now have the ability to switch mode such as Aperture / shutter priority so don't see why not. These were taken with a Nikon D200 DSLR though.

Nice camera... I have taken thousands on my D200. Just supplemented it with a D7100. Your approach to these pictures is right up my street (at a distance, long lens, limited DoF, low viewpoint, bit of an angle).

It is the composition that is key, not the camera. Most people stand looking down on the bike with a wide angle lens, capturing all the background. Even with a point and shoot, if you stood further away, crouched down and zoomed in it would look better.

The front of Daytona 675's always remind me of a cat with its ears back, in angry mode.

Great looking bikes, if it wasn't for the insurance I'd probably have one instead of a street triple, but £1500 vs £500 a year - forget that!!

Same reason for me, passed test, wanted a Daytona, insurance was about £800, test rode the STriple and bought one instead..Think I paid £350 to insure the Street. Year later thought I needed a Daytona while I am still flexible enough to ride one lol...

I'd have another Street too, (my old one) Smile

Opposite for me, road a 09 Daytona, absolutely stunning machine to look at and ride if you can forget comfort, much prefer the STR (for looks too, more of a naked kind of person Razz)
