Just idle curiosity but who else do you import from? Everything on your site appears to be Qingqi?

See you state

You may think Im biased? Fair enough, but let me tell you I have tested some crap and Im not afraid to tell you I simply wont sell it - so we dont buy it. Others do - thats up to them.

However I'm thinking as you appear to stock the Qingqi catalogue, I doubt very much you have tested anything else with a view to selling it, if you are basically a slightly autonomous subsidiary of Qingqi. I don't think that's a bad thing as if a Chinese maker is actually taking an interest beyond how many crates they can flog to a big nose it's only going to be good, however it makes me view your "one of you" speech as corporate spam with some fancy pictures linked.

I'm tighter than a Scottish Rabbi so as with my old Jinluns I wouldn't buy new, I'll wait till some guy who bought one as a midlife crisis and left it in a shed for 3 years decides to sell. So more like 2018 if I ever have one!

This would be of more interest to me Thumbs Up

Start testing NOW! and get it out before the end of the year.
Go on another long trip and do another write up.
I enjoyed this one.
Could possibly do a long trip around Scotland?

If you just tell us it's specs, that's what we're asking, it isn't spamming

Wouldn't happen to the ST, SC and SP would they?

Certainly the engine, exhaust and front disc looks very familiar on the ST to the Jianshe JS-1256a/b. The SC looks similar to the js-125c custom.

Pricing looks competitive. 24 month warranty. 330 miles to a tank. Yep, I'd happily buy the ST if buying a 125.

If I wasn't so much in love with cake and beer, I'd have stuck with the 125 for commuting. Managed 6 months after passing test, but no more.

Someone said you could pickup 150cc and 180cc big bore kits for the YBR-125 and they would work on the Jianshe/AJS. But I didn't look into it.

I was yes - in a previous incarnation!!

The ST is discontinued now and the SP is the new model - hence the ride. Personally, looks wise the ST didnt do it for me (thats just me) but the YBR style of the SP is excellent.

I love cake too - Im developing a motorcycle helmet that allows cake to be munched while riding !

Here is a pic of the new 250 Retrostar

What's the lump? Is it a 253FMM?

Looks nice, cylinder head covers would improve it I think.

172FMM then as I'm going to hazard a guess it's not an actual Suzuki branded lump. About 19.5 Bhp

Please tell me they are made for normal sized people and NOT dwarfs like most modern bikes.
BHP? it`s a 250 so I hope Sinnis can get 20+ out of it?
19 BHP would be good enough for a little town bike.

I like the styling I have to say Thumbs Up

Go do a trip in Scotland on that 250, test the rain resistance as a commuting tool. Laughing

I am a big fan of the Sinnis Trackstar, if it were a touch taller, I'm 6' 4" and the 125 was just too small for me when I was looking at buying at 17.

The Apache 250 looks good too. 20HP is enough. 25 is better though... Twisted Evil It would be good if you could get some 21/18wheels for it as well. Not many cheap trail bikes about, just enduro bikes and great big dual sport stuff. Looks a touch heavy, but a nice enough price, I'd say. Specs don't seem far off the CRF250M, which is acceptable, and the Sinnis is nearly half the price. On another note, my dad had a GN250 which seemed nippy enough.

Anyway, good read, and I always enjoy riding my mates Sinnis's whenever I get a chance, cheerful enough rides.

Another vote for a 250 test in Scotishland Thumbs Up
Another vote to make suitable for normal sized people (i`m 6`4") and NOT small dwarfs Thumbs Up
Another vote for 20+ hp Thumbs Up
