what do you mean heat treated look?

had it a month or so. Roide it 130 miles home and shes gone into hibernation until easter at the earliest !!

I actually plan on changing the exhaust. I fancy an akro or yoshi. The GPR can on it isn't loud enough really ....

Get those wheels powdercoated white! Looks great otherwise, it's very easy to over accessorise one of the K6-onwards shape models as they look quite distinctive already.

The heat treated look Very Happy What the heat does to the pipes

That occurs because the pipes are titanium. Mine are stainless, so won't ever look like that !!

I've planned a full set of R&G's, new exhaust and I'm going to colour code the front induction cowl to white, as well as hoping to find a blue front mudguard!

I know, I know, but if you had a titanium pipe, then the heat treated look would be a bonus Very Happy

Need to decat it if you want more noise, rather then buying another exhaust.

I'm itchin to take the K8 out, but I know I'll regret it. Its currently in garage absolutely spanking .... not a mark on it. And I know full well that a 5 mile trundle will see it filthy !!

Sell it then? Its a waste sitting there. If you get caught out in a downpour in summer you'll want to know that its perfectly fine Wink

The fact its clean isn't really the issue. I haven't the time at the moment, so I bought it with the plan of putting her into hibernation til easter (ish). If I get caught in a downpour then I'm not going to have 2 hours to clean it, and would hate to put it away filthy for the winter.

It's a motorbike mate. It doesn't have a use to anybody sat in a garage.

I completely agree on avoiding riding in the rain and ice - there's no fun to be had doing that on a shiny K8.

But for God's sake, if it's dry get out there and have a blast!
