I have a 2012 Honda CBR600F 2012 and the sidelight bulb has vibrated loose and into the headlight unit. I have spoken to Honda technical who say its a sealed unit and the only way to get it out is to remove the headlight (2 hours Labour easily) and shake the sidelight bulb out of the headlamp bulb slot.

Does anyone have any tricks to avoid removing the headlamp. You cant use grabbers because the bulb has dropped below the reflective section of the headlight.

Can anyone suggest where I can find a copy of the workshop diagram for a 2011 CBR600F so I can figure out how to remove the headlight. I can't find one online.

Many Thanks

I'd be pretty amazed if it's anywhere near 2 hours labour to remove headlight.

Different model (mine was older single headlight style) but I remember stripping near every bit of plastic away in less than an hour when I serviced mine.

Just leave it in there? Is it causing a problem?

OP is trying to sell it, and if someone hears a rattle he'll have to say that the previous owner left it in there.

As suggested, magnet on a stick or bit of string etc.
