Not sure about the matte finish

How does it feel after riding old bikes?

I know going to a brand new bike with suspension that works, digital dash and fuel injection from a 2001 model with carbs, choke and analogue dash was like night and day.

Thanks guys Smile

@SF It feels a little weird with having no choke and other such start up malarky, all the digital & electronic stuff is a little daunting, this is probably the first bike that I won't attempt everything on repair wise.

As for ride well that obviously was going to be a lot tighter with it been newer, lighter and probably as powerful as my old 750, shame I've only ridden it barely 500 ft, will be using it to commute on Monday though.

@Aff Yeah the Arrow slip on cans are going on when I can set some £ towards them (can't even tell its running compared to my CBR!) along with some stomp grips.

Well first ride out Mr. Green everything as good as expected to be, upcoming will be new front tyre (mismatched at the moment and front is a little worn, glad I haggled the price down!).

Also will be removing and throwing the data tool alarm into a river Evil or Very Mad

I am also a fan of the matt finish.

Not a fan of those exhausts though. Get rid of them!

Do that before you're stranded.

If the loom is the same, and I'm guessing it will be if you've got the S4 also, I have the config of the bridging plug that you'll need to short circuit. If of course you don't have the bridging plug.

Good choice of bike right there. Thumbs Up

Real men do noise.

https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_INT/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=18_86_109&zenid=5sjhtl078valt009flhk6sa3p7

I have the Tex GP.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmyQW18aBNE

Shit video but DAMN tasty noise. Cheaper than those shitty Arrow cans too.

Wouldn't consider expensive cans when these do the same job and sound fucking epic.

Beware though, dems a hooligan bike

@arry I've heard stories of them eating the battery on the bike and the fob battery requiring replacement at inopportune times, is there anything else?

@Paddy new cans are on the cards, far too tame at the moment! After fitting yours did it need any fueling adjustments?

Shorting out entirely, immobilising the bike - only fix = rip it out. I still have my entirely burnt out one upstairs, and it still smells of electrical component burn out 3 years on.

I put the arrow map on but it wasn't needed. Just gave it better fueling below 4k. On standard map with standard cans the fueling was crap.

Or starts going off at 2 in the morning for no good reason.
