So I don't know much about bikes, I figured surely someone here can help me.

My crank case had a plugged up hole, while out riding Sunday, the hole leaked and I ran out of oil 👍

I plugged the hole back up and refilled with oil, started it with the choke off, at which it never starts, but it started? So I notched it down to warm it up and it cut out, I heard an odd noise coming from the carb, and near my idle screw, I found a screw hole with no screw in it, I covered I up with my finger and the bike runs correctly with correct positioning of the choke, and it doesn't cut out, my question is, what is this hole and should there be a screw in there? Razz

There's not much else I can tell you, but I have posted a picture, my finger is pointing at the screw hole, hope I can get this sorted, I'm back on my old 50 moped and I hate it xD

Looks like your idle mixture screw has dropped out.

In anticipation of your next question: I don't know where you'd get a replacement. You could try https://www.ajsutton.co.uk/, https://cmpo.co.uk or some "pit bike spares" style sellers to ask about your specific carb. I see it's a PZ26, but there are Keihin, Dekni and probably other brandings of that model.

Thanks man! I was hoping this would be the issue, I'll call my local bike shop and let them know what I need, thanks Razz
