Top right corner of this website, greyed out. You all know what I mean now...

So, what will it be and when will it be up and running?

I'm bored so heres some ideas to put on it:

People's locations, good routes, possibility for people to mark routes on, markers of meets and they could all be put onto the map Korn created the other week?

I'd go for that. It'd be cool to see the location/distribution of bikers in the country, you could even go so far as filtering to view "125's only" or "Hondas" etc...

Would be well good, could even make some money off it by allowing bike garages/shops to advertise and being placed on the map Smile

But seriously, what is it for?

Or say you had a mate that wanted to get a CBR600, find them on the map, set them as a friend and hope they do the same and have their address or similar.

Sorted, one bike 'aquired' to order.

Probably not the best idea to have it set up quite like that Smile

I think you get to see the whole thing when you have stupid amounts of karma or something possibly?

I think it's a bit OTT to suggest that G, IMO. The map could just have the general location ie Glasgow. If anyone is stupid enough to give out their address to someone they don't know, then the can do that without the help of the map.

I personally would welcome the map feature, but I would only show active users on it, and make it available after say, 250 posts or something.

It does already show you where someone is in relation to you if you click into their profile but it doesn't actually give you much of an idea unless they're really really close and you can work it out.

Don't want it to have too much information and searchablility as otherwise as G said it is just a directory to look up places to nick bikes from.

Yeah, what I would like to see is the same information as what is on the map in the users profile, but with everyone shown on the same map. It would be easier to see who/how many people were near you etc.
