Only two things stopping me from going out and getting one of these right now: lack of garage space, and the fact that it's another thing to move when I go. Definitely an icon of it's age, a must-try.

I also used to prefer the round headlamps, but I'm not so sure now. The late style have grown on me. I used to think, well, yes, they look like lamps that need a fairing around them, but I think I'd happily settle for either now.

Enjoy Thumbs Up

Settle for nothing less than twin underseat pipes and round lights, anything else is inferior.

Err... Negative. The twin underseat pipes are soo heavy. Weight is the enemy of the motorcyclist.

I have the full arrow system, and it is just better. But yes, dame edna lights are for the feeble.

Each to there own.

I don't have a preference on lights, though when triumph first released the model, way back, I hated the headlights altogether. I love them now. (Both). Can't comment on the exhaust system, only ridden ones with the short ones in.

Really? Whereas I rate low level pipes. I prefer it, especially as I regularly ride with soft panniers, and tent and a hundred things thrown over the back of my bike when I go to rallies / weekend adventure trips / visiting etc.

Different folk like different strokes. Cool

Fair enough, I see that, however panniers won't be affected by the triples pipes Whistle

Just in time for summer though, best choice Mr. Green

It depends on the bike I think. Yours looks stunning.

I started off not liking the round lights and was really happy with the diamond shape of mine. Then I hated them, plasticy and completely lacking in class. Now I love them again Smile

Standard low can is horrific though. Can't wait until warranty is up and getting this:

Diamond lights look better with flyscreen imo.

The Street Triple eh.

This is a bike I just did not get and never could, until I test rode a 2013 demo.

Now I have a problem, what on earth will I ever replace it with Rolling Eyes

Why will you have to replace it? Neutral If you like a bike, stick with it. There is no reason why you shouldn't...unless

I had to get brackets for my STR in order to fit my panniers, makes it wide as a house though Shocked I like the underseats exhausts too much to swap for a low boy which would also foul the centre stand I have (chain maintenance over ground clearance yo! Wink ).

Dunno, lots of people have said that but I kind of like it. I can't be bothered to install a cheapo tail tidy anyway, so it's staying.
