So some of you may know i bought a Conway folding camper a few months back

we go camping a few times a year, an we are getting fed up of being uncomfortable lying on the floor etc so we bought a camper

It's basically like a trailer tent but with a kitchen unit inside

so far, i have stripped all the work tops out - to be replaced with oak veneered ply (lightweight)

painted all the interior

reupholstered interior

memory foam matresses

replaced wiring/ sockets

led lights

flooring

an we haven't even used the sodding thing yet....

god knows, they were horrendous

its the nasty plastic "wood" that gets me....hence why it was all painted white an pure 90s stylee fabric was taken off

Toilet, basically like a plastic thing goes in the awning (in its own little tent)

we have gone for a white an green theme

Liking this project

Turning fridge upside down sometimes works , if not make sure chimney on rear is clear and has baffle in.
A lot get thrown away but they need it to keep heat in correct place .

Is it a 3 way, ie 240v 12v and Gas ?

If so does it work on 240v?

cheers jrenoc

yep fridge is a 3 wayer, i havent tried it on gas yet (i need to replace the low pressure pipe - its original from 1996 Shocked ) only tried 240v and nothing

im told the freezer element is the first to get cold - but it seems dead as a doornail

Yep freezer element is the 1st thing to get cold.
Usually pretty damn quick.
Can you feel heat coming out of chimney, the absorption process needs heat in the right place to start the process .

If you've got heat and it's in the right place ( about half way up the tube ) and still not getting cold then try turning it upside down.
