So, it's race weekend once more...

Suzuki in 1st place by FP1, though this means nothing as people are 3+ seconds off last year's time.

Why don't they clean the track before the bikes turn up? It just completely invalidates FP1 as there's no point trying to set a fast time; by the end of the weekend when the track has had some use, the bike setup will be completely different.

Looking forward to the next race on my BT Sport account and HD projector Very Happy

Moto2 was fantastic last weekend!

Its an odd track. High speed but not much heavy braking/acceleration. Should suit the Yams.

Last 2 corners look good if there's going to be a battle to the line!

Agreed, I thought that when Cal got blocked on his hot lap.

Why is that under review!? Marquez tried to retaliate instantly and got caught out.

It's been outstanding since the start of the season.

Great for all the top 4, Bradders quietly doing a solid job in 6th, superb from Miller too.

Put a fiver on Cal to place after he was quick on Friday, feeling smug now Cool

Sorry I meant the championship, wide open now. Marquez should of made a more level headed choice there today, he knew Rossi was closing on him, ego caught him out it seems.

Dovi slowly going about his business

Not silly. Ruthless. He was aiming for the TC sensor.

Thumbs Up I agree, MM has had that coming for a long while, he bullies his way through corners, giving other riders nowhere to go, every race!

What was he thinking?
He lost a 4+ second lead in 6 laps!
If he had't done it at that corner, Rossi would just have overtaken at the next!
Should have taken the points for second. DNF's don't win prizes!

No love lost here for MM, a foookin' big cheer went up when he was handed his arse on a plate! Mr. Green
It would be nice to see Vale win another championship!

Anyone see this in Moto3?

Killswitch is a dick move but hilarious. Not so sure about the kick though... would be interesting to hear the backstory

Anyone heard crutchlows post race interviews? He says he was trying to get in front of the others to hold them up so Marquez could make a break. The first time he said it I thought he was joking but he's said it in several different interviews now. Team tactics like this is poor show.

All is revealed here:-

https://m.crash.net/motogp/news/217947/1/crutchlow-f1-tactics-for-first-honda-podium.html

We might see the satellite Yamahas "disrupting" MM, as best they can, at the beginning of races, to ensure the factory bikes get ahead.
Honda have got previous in this field, giving wildcards factory bikes to protect the championship leader!
Unfortunately this is the kind of bollox that could end up with MotoGp becoming the same, pisspoor, spectacle that F1 has become!

Yep, it will start a tactics war in MotoGP just like F1.

Really? Crikey. I think giving that wazzock a microphone is the poorest show. He is NOT an ambassador for MotoGP. Immediately post-race he thanked all the people who wrote him off. What a turkey. I hadn't written him off, in fact it's nice to see a Brit getting to grips in there. However, for me, I think his behaviour is childlike and purile.

I'm well impressed with Suzuki so far this year, I was expecting them to be closer to Aprilia than where they are. Another years development and I reckon they'll be challenging for podium positions.

I agree, I hope Suzuki see the value in being in MotoGP because the development in there road bikes have been stagnant since they left MotoGP and I'm sure that's no coincidence.

Being successful on track really does help in sales too. Like I am way more drawn to Kawasaki now than I would have been ten years ago, and that's thanks largely to people like Shane Byrne and Tom Sykes. Obviously you have to have the right bikes in the first place.

Also with four manufacturers able to challenge for the title it should make for a much more exciting season. I've loved watching Iannone and Dovi come up through the field over the last few years. I'm hoping that with a bit more development something to properly challenge Honda can come out of one of the other factories. It's always seemed that as a bike the Yamaha has been half a step behind.

WSBK has been particularly good this year because of how equalled the field has been.
