Rossi on pole, by a good margin, EPIC!
Lorenzo seventh, Lowes third, Kent fourth.
Don't forget racing on Saturday not Sunday, (for the last time ever)!
Marquez looked back on it, with last years swinging arm, but who knows for the race, he's admitted to a win it or bin it attitude, although I suspect Mr Honda isn't best pleased with him.
Should be a good racing tomorrow, I'm going with Rossi, Zarco and Kent!
Having said that, there's a strong possibility of rain so that might throw up a few surprises!

Rossi is good in the rain as well so bring it. Just imagine if he gets a tenth title, living legend somehow doesn't seem enough to describe him.

On another note, I'm still surprised at how Marquez can win 13 out of 18 races one season and then, with the same team, do so poorly the next season. Okay, blame the bike, but why make changes to the bike in the first place if everything was going so well for so long?

Isn't so much that the Honda has got worse, Yamaha and Ducati have just moved the game on.

When they tested the new engine in a very hot Sepang, the aggressive characteristics weren't so obvious.

It also doesn't help that Honda refused to take a backwards step and revert to the '14 frame sooner.

Electronics are now or are about to be frozen so they also can't do much with the power delivery. No wonder Scott is struggling, he's gone from a woefully underpowered bike to a total animal that is too small for him. Still expected to see more from him though.

Rossi, JLo, Pedrobot today I think.

The strange thing is that the experts say it is the Honda engine that is too aggressive, not actually a chassis/frame problem.

Exactly. But engines are sealed and electronics are frozen, so you have to do something else to improve rideability.

If you're not already watching, Moto3 is epic.

How there wasn't a massive pile up, in that race, I'll never know!
17th place, crossing the line, needs knew knee sliders, and a clean pair of undercrackers! Shocked

IMO, MM has had a severe talking to by HRC.

Apart from a couple of "moments" he kept everything in line for the whole race, a long way from his usual "on the ragged edge", "win it or bin it" approach.
Having said that, he simply, couldn't resist his trademark lunge on the last lap.
Typical Honda bullying, putting in a complaint, "they don't like it up 'em" never have and they've always been sore losers!

Apart from McPint winning the Senior TT and Danny Kent, Honda are winning Jack Shit this year, in anything, the ceremonial swords will be being sharpened in readiness, failure is unacceptable at HRC!

MM's not the most likeable out there, (way too fcukin' smug), and his antics on track don't appear to win him any friends.
The antithesis of Rossi, how can you not like him?
Every race, win or not, is an event, when he wins he's, genuinely happy, you can tell he's lovin' every minute of it! He's got nothing to prove, he's been there and done it all. Don't forget Vale took his first Yamaha deal when their bike was rubbish and went on to win the world championship on it.
Can you see MM signing for a unfancied team and taking another title on it?
Nah, me neither!

Just ordered my Silverstone tickets - use voucher 'MCNAUGS' when putting in payment info and you'll save about £16 per grandstand ticket.

Prices go up again on the 1st so worth jumping in now Thumbs Up

Great race!

Marquez done well to keep with Rossi and get to a position to have a go but I can't help feeling that his moves are a bit desperate sometimes. Oh and the appeal to race control - seriously? That reeks of unsporting behaviour. Live by the sword, die by the sword and all that.

Marquez doesn't fall short when it comes to dishing it out so he needn't bother grumbling when there do it to him. Last corner 'Shit or Bust' lunges seem to be his speciality when it looks like the 'competition' doesn't recognise his 'superior' skill.
