I have been looking for a track bike for a while, but all the bikes in breakers / ebay and other places just seemed a bit too expensive.

Anyway, someone gave me a link for this Salvage place www.hbc.co.uk that auctions write offs.... luckily its not that far from Canary Wharf so I was able to view the bike first (I wouldn't have bought otherwise)

Anyway here she is..... was a cat D - the radiator has a small ding in the side but it holds water fine, the head bearings are fine & the fairing stay/clocks aren't even broken. One of the fork's is scratched but is straight. and rest seems fine Very Happy

Thats a bargain mate, always amazes me what little damage writes a bike off these days.

Hope so mate - i'll see if she's ready.

finished the trailer this weekend as well Thumbs Up i'll post up some pic's later..... I seem to remember you were slightly doubtful of my trailer building abilities.

Looks like a good buy, and all it needs is a race fairing and it's good to go. Not bad at all for the money. Smile

Will hopefully see it and your trailer at Silverstone. Mr. Green Thumbs Up
