Have read a few of these, and after going through a load of old pictures today I figured I'd got something together that some might be interested in.

So my story with bikes starts here;

A chinese mini moto dirtbike. Freind had bought a pitbike so picked this up for £50.

It soon led to a C90 that I could fit on;

Never went on the road...but I knew I had to get a bike.

Had a car crash, which put my insurance up to a point where I couldn't afford to drive....so took my CBT on this;

Which then led to the purchase of a 2011 YBR125. My first proper road bike.

I passed my test on the YBR & purchased this. A 1991 GS500E

First crash. Span the back wheel up a few weeks after getting it and highsided into a bus stop.

Which prompted the purchase of a 1996 CR125 - totally rebuilt this one from bare frame & had it road registered

Went to a trackday to watch/help out a few BCF'ers;

Rode a few cool small bikes at the BBQ in 2014 (including superped, I spent most of the BBQ working on it);

Diddn't fancy riding the CR hard as my wrist was still pretty fucked, but this guy seemed pretty capable of testing it out;

G was equally as harsh on it - was good to see the bike getting used for the first time since the crash!

I then found I diddn't use it, the theft risk was insane & my wrist hurt far too much to enjoy it.

I put it up for sale, ended up selling it on my birthday & 15 mins later bought...

...A 2007 KTM Duke 2

Got it cheap through work as it'd been crashed & needed quite a few consumables, we'd taken it as a P/X & the boss diddn't want it in the showroom as it was a bit scruffy. Spent a day and £400 on it & it scrubbed up really well!

Then decided touring would be a good idea so took it to France;

Girlfreind left me...as this was supposed to be a cheapo work hack for her, I did the logical thing and tuned it to do more than 70mph. It provided endless hours of amusement & also earned me a BCF award

Went on a very mixed rideout with theese two. You couldn't really find three more different bikes!

I then breifly had another GS500 I'd picked up as a fix & sell jobbie. It was noisy, did think about keeping it...however only owned it around six days.

Then came an RF600. I got this as a partially started project from a mate who'd crashed and needed the money. Fairing was held on with three cable ties

I fought the law, and the law won. Got it back with my wallet £200 lighter...

Then I bought another ped, a Sinnis Eagle 50. Customer haddn't paid his bill, so my boss sold it to me for £50. Knackered top and bottom end with transmission damage too. Never got finished, sold to a workmate for what I'd paid & then ended up being sold to the fire brigade!

A 1989 Honda CB-1. Fun little bike that made the commute to Basildon every day cheaper and quicker.

And that brings me up to the present. It's been a fun few years, lotta good times with the BCF lot & a lot of freinds made

It's a Baotian BT49QT-20C - Chinese ped. Aprilia SR50 clone bodywork, air cooled Minarelli clone engine (same sort of thing you'd find in a Neos)
