Superb 2005 Suzuki V-Strom 650 FS in Brum - NOW SOLD

As above, now sold.

This bike is in exceptional condition for its age and mileage (40,000) and has no known faults at all. It had a new back tyre less than 1,000 miles ago, and new front about 2,000 miles ago. Chain and sprockets were changed around 8,000 miles ago. It had a new battery last year. New brake pads were fitted recently. I have a documented service history (although the book is not stamped).

The bike starts instantly and runs smoothly with no hesitation. The clutch and gearchange are perfect. The MoT (no advisories) is valid until June 23rd 2016.

The paintwork is in beautiful condition with no scratches, chips or scrapes, although there are a couple of minor scuffs on the bar ends / handguards where they've caught a wall or similar. There is no rust / furry alloy or rounded fasteners

The original handbook and toolkit are all present and correct.

The bike is fitted with a centre stand, Givi / Kappa top box and panniers, frame sliders, bar risers and footrest lowering plates making it a superb touring machine. I would have no hesitation in setting out for the South of France on it tomorrow.

My only reason for sale is that advancing age (mine not the V-Strom's!) means that it is becoming more of a handful to get in and out of the garage, park etc so making me more reluctant to take it out. I'm now looking for something smaller and lighter.

Looking for £2,000 ONO as I am ready to move on.
