I said I'd never buy a bike brand new, especially a Honda. But the lack (and I mean lack) of depreciation lead me to buy this.
Paid half deposit in cash and the rest 0%
It looks gorgeous and will be a lot of fun. Not many of these around with this paint scheme and the MSX is in short supply anyway.

I intend to trick this one up after first service. 165CC and 180CC kits are plentiful. The former is probably more realistic. As well as lots of bolt on tat (I will be selective with this). Picking it up on Saturday, hoping to do Brighton run on it, come Sunday.

Flaming is expected, but I just don't care.

EDIT: Changed the thread title

I wouldn't flame you for buying that.

I'd flame you for getting it from what looks like Dobles.

Looks a fun and funky little thing, and not at all chavvy like most cheap pit bikes do.

I wonder how it compares to my Favourite pit/monkey bike the Kawasaki KSR80 though? Oh and I wonder how much a used KSR would cost that looks almost as clean too?

It is from Doble, BUT, when my CBF rusted to shit. They sorted it without quibbling, whereas other dealers have, to put it mildly, considered their options.

I have nothing but praise for them.

I considered the pukka Repsol Blade after my windfall, but then I realised that I am far from getting the best out of the blade I have. I'm happy with my (fake) Repsol Blade. This will be more fun tearing around London and suburbs than my fireblade.

With the 165CC kit on it, it will be ok for commuting as I have a short section of dual carriageway to negotiate, so the extra will make it viable.

Anyone seen these before? Apparently danmoto, but I like the adjustment on it, because let's face it, 125 exhausts can sound farty. Just like the idea of a silent get away in a morning, but that extra sound for filtering.

No flame, they look hilarious. I was laughing like a drain just sitting on one. Loads sold, few for sale used, you might as well buy new.

Has to be in Repsol colours just for the lulz of it. Thumbs Up

Those available used were 200-300 cheaper than new 2 years old with a fair few miles on (obviously not the Repsol). The Repsol's are a dealer special. They have them done like that, apparently mine WAS yellow!

Apart from the seat, which is hard, it feels strangely comfortable. I'd read about the seat being hard, easy fix though. Plenty of alternatives.

I've seen a few dealers doing Repsol ones, that's one of the nicer schemes. Dobles even have one with a bit of red faux trellis frame bolted on too, just for extra WTF? Clapping

Not to get too Paddy, but you realise that if you leave it out and about then it needs to be anchored to a shark made entirely of pitbulls or it'll be gone faster than a refugee's gratitude?

I have the trellis it wasn't fitted in the pic. In fact they were just fitting it.

Yeah, security is an issue. We have a garage at work. Which this will fit in.

We've had a couple of guys go through DAS with these. We always have a play on them. They are a hoot. I would love one just to knock around on.

I plan on keeping this, first 'service' is 600 miles essentially for nothing more than an oil change. They want £130.

Would you? When I got the CBF125, I knew very little and just bent over.

I am planning the upgrade to 165 in a few months, as soon as I look at that I'm binning most of the warranty, if not all.

I wouldn't bother if you are going to fuck about with it.
