This time it's a Bandit 1200 K6. Only 7500 miles, it's pretty clean and tidy for a 9 year old bike. Last of the air/oil cooled engines before they ruined them by changing to that ugly 1250 lump.

Sounds nice with the Scorpion stubby on it, lots of crackle and pop on the overrun. Comfy, quick enough and really quite fun to ride.

It will not be getting any anodised aluminium tat or Bandit related bling.

Did about 120 miles on it Sunday an it does put a smile on my face. Bags of torque and comfy too.

Negatives - suspension is vague (but that's compared to a ZX12R) and probably a bike that I would consider putting a steering damper on.

No, not now it's not.

I just put a part worn tyre on the front, the old one had some side wall damage, was worn funny and was the wrong profile. The handling is much better now, less twitchy.

It's going to Santa Pod on Saturday for RWYB so hopefully it will behave on the 1/4 mile Praying
