Permanent or non-permanent?
For permanent I'd probably use either soldered connections and heatshrink if there wasn't going to be too much movement in the wiring, or decent quality crimped butt connections and heatshrink over the lot if there's likely to be movement. If you go down the butt route, then stagger the connections otherwise you'll end up with a huge bunch in the middle.
For non-permanent then I'd use a suitable rated multiway connector weatherproofed if required.

I just use wire connectors , always have , never had any problems, ____________________ Ride safe , if you can not ride safe , ride free.... |
