lucky shed stored ducati 748s, 4600 miles on the clock, engine stripped and needing rebuilt and put back in after an unknown fault at the time. been in the shed roughly ten years. comes with termigonis and usual s extras as far as I'm aware but not well up on my ducati knowledge. will need to start looking and learning, any advice will be more than welcome!

Good find tommy at that mileage, biggest problem now is getting the shed built, your gonna need at least a 10x8 to be able to move round the bike and for storage. I've worked outside many moons ago with just a tarp over the bike, alright in the summer, but not a lot of room for storage, if your kicking your heels and raring to go get one of those pop up gazebo things with side panels from Argos , that'll keep you out of the weather until your sheds built, you can always sell on the thing afterwards, although there cheap anyway. Happy fettling Thumbs Up

iv got uprights sunk in concrete for the frame of the shed already meaty, putting a concrete base in before I build up the sides and roof it. don't fancy working outside on it even in the summer, not normally warm and sunny in n.ireland regardless of the time of year lol shed should be roughly 10ft by 12ft when its finished so should be plenty of room.

uprights in for the shed/workshop/ garage/ man space/ hideout. the boss indoors has been warned it wont be used for storing lawnmower, bicycles or other junk. if it isn't motorcycle related then it wont be allowed in. weather holding back progress so far but should be finished within the next week or so then I can bring the baby home.

drz4 I think I'm just as excited about the shed as I am the bike. rest of the posts to go in tomorrow, build a frame round the base then get a mixer etc on sat and float a concrete base so the floor is level then build up from there! any suggestions welcome. current plan is a sloped roof. brother is a dry liner so it will b getting insulated and plasterboarded on the inside. laminate floor, a wide access door fitted then a lick of paint and workbench.

Sounds good! I'm currently waiting for my workshop to get delivered (16 x 10) so I'm on the lookout for shed ideas for when it arrives Smile

If you hadn't considered running leccy to it, that could be an idea?
