Yes Very Happy
Actually, if you want all-functional geo-position app - you need to permit a lot.
Contacts need to be shared to call to others directly from app.
Pics for logbook - if you want to post sth.
4 example - try out endomondo app for tracking your sport activities and compare )))

If you need more info visit our pages in facebook https://www.facebook.com/motogipsy or vk https://vk.com/motogipsy

Nopes, just:-
The exact location (based on GPS signals and network)
The approximate location (network-based)

Contacts need to be shared to call to others directly from app.

Because using the stock contacts list is difficult?

Pics for logbook - if you want to post sth.

Because it's not like the phone will name the image using the date and time, or will it store the date and time in the exif data.

4 example - try out endomondo app for tracking your sport activities and compare

No.

Android permissions are notorious for being wide ranging. Looking at the permissions required list is, at best, unhelpful - listing the same one more than once and making "whhoooo" ghosts sounds even less helpful. Not understanding why permissions are required is pretty common.

The problem is if you make them more granular only about 0.01% of the population would take any notice. The rest would continue to ignore them and just install it anyway - provided it's free.

Does it tip off the local pikeys where to find your bike so they can whip it away in their Transit. Motogipsy app? Really? Bikers and 'gipsys' aren't what you'd call best pals. Not enough market research and FAIL at hurdle one. The name of the thing is terrible. Why didn't you call it "Painfulbattyaids app" that name wouldn't put people off nearly as much.

This reminds me of the film I watched last night... Hacked (aka The Den). Eh?
