MotoGipsy mobile app will help on road

A few years ago we did an epic ride from Saratov, Russia through the Pamir mountains (here is short video report ).

After that we got an idea to create mobile application which will help motorcyclists during long distance trips. Based on our experience, we created mobile application MotoGipsy.

The main features described below:

- "Trips" is future rides planner. You can lay routes and discuss future trips with friends
- "Help list" contains information about motoclubs, services, accommodations all around the world. Everyone can add records that will help others in future.
- "SOS button" will transmit you geolocation point and message to nearby MotoGipsy users
- "Logbook" helps you to log your adventures and share it with friends
- "Requests" can help to ask a question MotoGipsy users in a specified town/city or defined radius around you

Application available for Android and iOS. One can ask questions concerning application in Facebook support group.

Contacts need to be shared to call to others directly from app.

Because using the stock contacts list is difficult?

Because it's not like the phone will name the image using the date and time, or will it store the date and time in the exif data.

Does it tip off the local pikeys where to find your bike so they can whip it away in their Transit. Motogipsy app? Really? Bikers and 'gipsys' aren't what you'd call best pals. Not enough market research and FAIL at hurdle one. The name of the thing is terrible. Why didn't you call it "Painfulbattyaids app" that name wouldn't put people off nearly as much.
